Marenwood is a family-inclusive child and adolescent psychology practice in Ringwood, Victoria. We’re building a small team of clinicians who share a particular view of what good therapy looks like — and we’d love to hear from you if that sounds like you.

How We Work
At Marenwood, we believe you can’t do meaningful work with a child without also working with the people around them. Every clinician here works with the child and their family — not one instead of the other.
That means sessions with the child, regular sessions with parents, and a genuine investment in understanding the whole family system. It’s more work than seeing the child alone. It’s also more effective, more satisfying, and more honest about what actually creates change.
We also believe the relationship between the therapist and the client is the mechanism of change — not just the delivery vehicle for techniques. If that’s how you think about your work, you’ll fit here.
We’re not looking for someone to fill a chair. We’re looking for clinicians who:
Genuinely enjoy working with children and families — the whole family, not just the presenting child
Think relationally — you’re curious about what’s happening beneath the surface, not just what the referral says
Are comfortable sitting with uncertainty and not rushing to solutions
Value reflective supervision and see it as part of good clinical practice, not a compliance exercise
Want to build something — we’re a growing practice and we want people who are invested in what we’re creating, not just passing through
