Where families
grow together
At Marenwood, we work with children, adolescents, and the families who love them - because the most meaningful change happens through relationship, not just therapy.
OUR APPROACH
Many of the families we work with have strong, loving relationships. They're just going through something hard. A child who's struggling doesn't mean you've failed as a parent - it means you're looking for a better way to help them.
At Marenwood, we add a layer of support around what's already there. We work alongside you - not instead of you. We believe your child can't do this without you. And neither can we.
“A child’s behaviour is an invitation to understand their inner world.”
- Dr Dan Hughes
What to expect when you
reach out
We start by
listening
The first sessions are about understanding your family, not just the presenting problem. We meet with you and your child together, then separately, so we can build a full picture of what's happening and why.
We make sense of it
together
After gathering information, we share what we understand to be happening and our recommendations for therapy. You'll always know what we're doing and why, no jargon, no mystery.
We give you what you need to support them at home
Therapy often includes individual sessions with your child and regular sessions with you. Because lasting change happens in the relationships around a child, not just in the therapy room.
Who we work with
Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, big emotions, behavioural difficulties, or you're just not sure what's going on, Marenwood is a space to figure it out together.
Children (0–12)
Therapy that meets kids where they are, in language they understand. Sessions are warm, unhurried, and built around what your child is communicating even when they can't find the words.
Teens (13–18)
Talking-based therapy for adolescents navigating anxiety, low mood, identity, relationships, and the pressures of growing up. A space that is genuinely theirs.
Parents
Sessions with parents to build understanding, strengthen connection, and find new ways to support your child. You don't have to figure this out alone.
Assessments
Comprehensive psychological assessments for ADHD, autism, learning disorders, and cognitive ability — with clear, readable reports and practical recommendations.
